Copyright and Content Policy

At Retired But Ready, we safeguard the intellectual property and other rights of individuals and organizations. Under our User Agreement and Community Guidelines, we strongly encourage users to share only truthful and legally compliant information. Retired But Ready has established robust processes for handling complaints regarding content violations, including copyright infringement, the dissemination of false news, and other forms of improper or illegal information, to uphold these fundamental principles.

1. General Content Policy and User Responsibilities

All Retired But Ready users are accountable for ensuring that the content they post is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe upon the rights of others. Retired But Ready reserves the right to remove or restrict access to any content that violates these standards. Furthermore, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that engage in copyright infringement or repeatedly post unlawful or inappropriate content.

2. Reporting Content Violations

Retired But Ready provides a mechanism for users to report content that may infringe upon rights or violate our policies. Users must submit all reports in good faith and under penalty of perjury. False reports may result in personal liability. For legal guidance, users are strongly advised to consult an attorney prior to submitting a complaint.

3. Copyright Infringement Claims

3.1 Notice of Copyright Infringement

If you genuinely believe that content on Retired But Ready infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a Notice of Copyright Infringement to our designated Copyright Agent. The notice must include:

Your electronic or physical signature

• A detailed description of the copyrighted work that you believe is infringed
• A description of the infringing content on Retired But Ready, including its location on the website
• Your contact information, including your email address, mailing address, and telephone number
• A statement of good faith belief that the disputed use is unauthorized.

Under penalty of perjury, please provide a statement confirming the accuracy of the information provided and authorizing your actions on behalf of the copyright owner.

3.2 Counter-Notice

If you believe that a copyright complaint erroneously caused content removal, submit a counter-notice. The counter-notice must include:

• Your physical or electronic signature
• Identification of the content removed or disabled
• A statement under penalty of perjury asserting that the removal was an error or that the content is not infringing
• Your contact information, including your email address, mailing address, and a declaration of consent to the jurisdiction of Indian courts and acceptance of service of process from the complainant

4. Fake News and Misinformation Policy

Retired But Ready strictly prohibits the dissemination of false information, misleading content, or material intended to deceive or mislead the community. If you suspect that content on Retired But Ready constitutes false information or misinformation, please report it through our Content Reporting Form. We diligently review reports and take appropriate action, which may include the removal of the content or suspension of the user’s account.

5. Trademark Infringement

To report the unauthorized use of your trademark on Retired But Ready, please contact our legal team. Your complaint should include:

• Description of the trademark and registration details
• Description of the infringing content or profile on Retired But Ready
• Your contact information

6. Law Enforcement Requests and Content Removal

Retired But Ready cooperates with law enforcement agencies and will remove or restrict access to content as required by law. Retired But Ready may share user information with law enforcement agencies in cases involving unlawful activities, fraud, threats, or other safety concerns. 7. Reporting Inappropriate or Offensive Content

Users can report content that violates our Community Guidelines, including hate speech, harassment, violent content, or adult content. Visit our Help Center for instructions on how to report inappropriate content.

8. Retired But Ready's Content Removal Process

8.1 Notification and Forwarding

If Retired But Ready receives a valid complaint regarding content posted by a user, we may forward the complaint (including the complainant's contact information) to the user who posted the content and inform them of the alleged violation. Retired But Ready will restrict or remove content without prior notification if necessary to protect user rights and safety or comply with legal obligations.

8.2 Account Termination for Repeated Violations

Users who repeatedly post content that violates intellectual property rights or other policies may have their accounts suspended or terminated. Retired But Ready makes this decision, considering the severity and frequency of the violations.

9. Associated Press (AP) Content

Users may not republish, distribute, or modify Associated Press (AP) content found on Retired But Ready for any purpose. Users may only store AP content for personal, non-commercial use; they must not download, reproduce, or redistribute it. AP disclaims liability for any inaccuracies or delays in the transmission of its content.

10. Policy on False Profile Claims

Retired But Ready strives to maintain an authentic professional environment. We prohibit creating a false profile or impersonating someone else. If you believe a profile is fraudulent or impersonates someone, please report it via our Help Center.
